Building Resilience - Chakra Balancing Yoga Workshop

Many cultures believe that all symptoms of the body and mind begin in our energetic field and in the Chakras. When our energy is affected, if left untreated and possibly ignored, then eventually blockages and negative energy can start to affect the physical body and mind. In this nurturing 3 hour workshop we will practice a slow mindful flow of yoga poses as well as a series of yin poses; all topped of with a nourishing yoga Nidra aimed at balancing the Chakras to promote resilience and equilibrium. Yoga for Beginners - 6 weeks programme - Postponed to January 2021 due to Local Covid restrictions

This programme,in a supportive small group setting, is perfect for anyone completely new to yoga, or re-visiting the practice after some time out. During the 6 weeks you'll understand how to get past the limitations your own mind and body place on you; physically and emotionally. And that the two aren't separate but connected. In addition to creating a nurturing, interactive small group environment in which to learn the core physical postures, we'll take care to spend time on other key elements of a rounded yoga practice: breath-work, meditation and relaxation. At the end of the six weeks, my intention is that you will have the confidence to join a regular class, discover which style (or styles) of yoga suit you best and, most importantly, an overwhelmingly positive experience of practising yoga! The course will be limited to 10 people and is suitable of adults of any age or ability.
